Terms of Service

Last updated 24 June 2026

Draft template. This document is a starting point and has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel. Have a qualified lawyer review and adapt it (incl. Bangladesh data-protection requirements) before relying on it.

These Terms govern your access to and use of the Paylio HR & payroll platform (the “Service”) provided by Paylio Technologies Ltd. By accessing the Service you agree to these Terms on behalf of your organisation.

1. The Service

Paylio provides cloud-based HR, attendance, leave, payroll, and related workspace tools for organisations operating in Bangladesh. Features available to you depend on your organisation’s configuration and role.

2. Accounts & access

Access is provisioned by your organisation’s administrators. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

Your role determines what you can see and do; the Service enforces access controls server-side.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service: no unlawful activity, no attempts to breach security or access data you are not authorised to see, no interference with other organisations’ data, and no automated scraping beyond documented APIs.

4. Customer data

Your organisation owns the data it submits. We process it to provide the Service in line with the Privacy Policy and any data-processing agreement. You are responsible for the accuracy of payroll, tax, and employee data you enter.

5. Payments

Fees and billing are agreed separately with your organisation. Unless agreed otherwise, fees are non-refundable for the period in which they accrue.

6. Availability & support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance and support channels are communicated to administrators.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Paylio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our aggregate liability is limited as set out in your organisation’s order or agreement. Paylio does not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice; outputs (e.g. tax calculations) should be reviewed by qualified professionals.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate as set out in the applicable order. On termination we will make your data available for export for a limited period, then delete it per our retention policy.

9. Changes & contact

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified to administrators. Questions: legal@paylioo.com.
